Learning from Practice: Advocacy for health equity – Food security

This paper highlights the experience of the Ontario Association of Public Health Nutrition Professionals and Food Secure Canada in advocating to improve food security. Three advocacy roles in public health are identified: framing food security as related to inadequate income, generating and using data to move forward the policy agendas, and working in collaboration with a broad range of partners.

Southwest BC Bioregion Food System Design Project | Research Briefs
