Food Policy Councils are made up of members representing various sectors of the food system. They identify emerging food issues that will impact their municipality or region and work to influence them through policy and programs. Typically they collaborate with the municipal or regional government.
Food Security Networks are coalitions of community members, organizations, agencies, and businesses who work collaboratively to address food security.
